Diego Pineda is a passionate medical writer. After obtaining a master’s degree in science and technology journalism from Texas A&M University he went to work for the nonprofit organization Immunizations for Public Health (i4ph) as a science writer. In this role, he has written more than a hundred articles on vaccines and immunizations, many of them published on the Web site of the National Network for Immunization Information (NNii).
Diego is the co-author of the best-selling booklet Are Vaccines Safe? Evaluating Information about Immunizations on the Internet and the new book, Do Vaccines Cause That?! A Guide for Evaluating Vaccine Safety Concerns.
He is a past officer in the Southwest chapter of the American Medical Writers Association (AMWA), and is actively involved in the medical writing community. He has been invited to lead roundtable discussions and open sessions at AMWA annual conferences.
